2018 Holden Commodore Leak And Release Info
The sports car “2018 Holden Commodore” was first critically advertised by GM International boss Stefan Jacoby at the Detroit Motor Show, but since then the brand has refused to disclose other details. Speculation suggests that it will be the Chevrolet Camaro or the Corvette; or potentially both will decline in future generations.
Exterior and Interior
According to Rob Trubiani, the Holden Dynamics Guru: “The next generation of Commodore offers a different performance for outgoing SS, but do not get me wrong, it’s more than a worthy successor.” By filling the 2018 Holden Commodore mechanical package, there are adaptive shock absorbers, Brembo front brakes and 20-inch wheels. Drivers will be able to choose between three driving modes to adjust the steering weight, suspension stiffness and overall response of the drive system.
The interior of 2018 Holden Commodore will be differentiated from the outside by unique front and rear fascias and a rear lip spoiler, while in heated and ventilated sports seats, increase occupant support. The new 2018 Commodore Holden will also feature a full set of active safety equipment, including a 360-degree camera, self-contained emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, track maintenance assistance and a head-up screen.
2018 Holden Commodore’s flagship carrier has officially revealed itself to a Commodore world that will not see eight-cylinder engines, manual transmissions or SS badges. As previously confirmed, the new model abandons the eight curves for a naturally aspirated V6 that only corresponds to a nine-speed automatic transmission with power channeled on all four wheels. As expected, the new 2018 Holden Commodore will be powered by a 3.6-liter V6 that will produce 235kW of power and 381 Nm of torque.
